Racers - you can submit your protest form online.

To file a protest according to the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), you must inform the protesting boat at the first reasonable opportunity, usually by hailing "Protest" and displaying a red flag if your boat is over 6 meters long. 

You then need to submit a written protest form to the Race Committee within the time limit specified in the Sailing Instructions or by the RRS if no limit is stated.

We've made it easy to complete and submit your protest form on time by using the online Protest Form on our website and on the Sporty mobile app:

• Website - Go to the Dgital Notice Board and Calendar page, and click the Lodge a Protest or Request Redress button
• Sporty app - on the app screen, tap Register then select Lodge a Protest or Request Redress

Now you can come back to the club to socialise and not stress about paperwork.
