Congratulations to new RPNYC officials

The club would like to congratulate Roger Cook from the Port Nicholson Yachting Trust and our Vice Commodore, Paul Davies on their appointment as National Race Officers. Roger and Paul join fellow RPNYC members Brett Linton and Ken Burt as being the only accredited NRO’s in Wellington.

Roger has proven himself as a Match Racing RO running the 2012 Youth Match Racing Nationals, while Paul has run many dinghy and trailer yacht events for classes such as the OK Dinghy, Paper Tiger and Noelex 22 North Island Championships.

Paul is already booked in to run the Noelex 25 Nationals to be held at Evans Bay in February 2013 and Roger has a full book of Match Racing events coming up as well.

all good news patting each other on the back but when i prview you results page i see ver few boats sailing and wonder what the hell this RPNYC is doing to promote keel bat fleets in Welly.RPNYC has gone backwards. and seems content to follow EBYMBC's silly ptogression into water sport such as Paddle boardng.
