Steele Wins NZ Youth Match Racing Championships
With both Steele and Middleton starting the day 1-0 up and at match point in their semi finals the pressure was on Mackay and McKenzie to come out firing and level the scores. Clearly neither Mackay nor McKenzie were feeling the pressure and opened the day with wins to stay alive.
Day two and semi finalists are decided at NZ Youth Match Racing Champs
After a solid day of racing on day two of the 2012 New Zealand Youth Match Racing Championships the semi finalists have been decided. Chris Stele and his Auckland team from the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron are joined by three Wellington teams from Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club in the semis.
Day one done, Round robin one done!
The first day of the 2012 New Zealand Youth Match Racing championship is complete and the first three teams are starting to make their presence felt for the semi finals while the fourth spot looks to be wide open.

The teams have gathered in Wellington for the start of the 2012 New Zealand Youth Match Racing Champiponship. This year there are eight teams entered however one team has been forced to withdraw so there will be seven teams that make it to the start line.
